Jude Law's Dumbledore having Brown eyes

Started watching SoD and I immediately noticed that they didn't give Jude Law any contacts to make his eyes blue like in the books. Anyone know why they didn't opt to do this? It's one of Dumbledore's defining features, his twinkling blue eyes. Maybe I am missing something, but it seemed odd to me.
