My hamster is a biter

I got my new hamster about a month ago. She is a female winter white. This is the second winter white I've had, and they couldn't be more different! My first one (Panya) LOVED to be held and picked up. She never bit me even once. My syrian (Phyllis) died about 5 months ago and she was the love of my life. I wanted to get another syrian but every pet store within a 50 mile radius was sold out. So I picked a very adorable russian winter white - she is orange with red eyes. I would assume she is albino? She must be very young too since she is so small. I love her very much, but wow she is a spicy one! For the first few weeks I just would put my hand in there to let her get used to me and my scent. I couldn't do it for very long though because of how HARD and persistent she was with the biting lol. After a while I tried picking her up and she let me but still bit very hard. Even now she will chase my hand around the tank just to bite it lol! So now I've just been letting her be. I don't know if she is scared... or just likes the feeling of biting. I had a robo that passed last month (Peepee) and she was the same way through her whole life. Never let me pick her up. And I was fine with it. I loved her very much. Just watching her run around her tank and talking to her was enough for me.

Any advice? Do you guys think she just isn't a fan of interaction like Peepee was? Is there something I can be doing different?
