Over the past few months, I've been struggling with the following issue:I downloaded the Google Drive desktop app for macOS, but when the sign-in browser page opens and I enter my credentials, it breaks.
I've already been in touch with the official Google support and after some debugging they told me that their engineers are working on a fix... still, few months have passed by and a solution is yet to be found.
My Mac has just been reset to factory settings and it's currently running the latest available Sonoma update, and of course I've been also trying with different browsers and Google accounts.
If a fix cannot be found, which workaround could I use? I see that some third party clients exist, but they all require to first log in to GDrive from the browser.
Signing directly from Google Drive website works, though, so I'm at least able to use the Web version for it; but what I need is to be able use and sync the local files from my Mac.
