Why do some of yall despise dupes so much?

No offense but I feel like most of yall are just mad that you paid for the real deal, while others practically acquired the same thing for a fraction of the price. A lot of the time, the dupes will even outperform the OGs.

If you really think about it, what are you paying all that extra money for? It’s literally just for the brand. Sure you could argue that the R&D may have taken quite a bit of time and resources, but most of these designer brands are multi-million dollar companies with more than enough money to compensate and reinvest into all these.

I could see an argument for niche brands but again, most of em are already well established.
