Heated steering wheel?

This is my first ever truck coming from a Jeep Grand Cherokee after 10 years! Picked up this 2022 Tremor for an absolute steal bc the dealership messed up the pricing but honored it for me. Anyways it does not have a heated steering wheel and when I asked the dealer if they could install one they simply said they can’t bc of the chip shortage a couple years back and this truck has it omitted.

Is this true or has anyone added a heated steering wheel? They said my best option was to just put on a heated cover that plugs in.
