How much should a muffler delete cost?

I live in california and I’m driving down to get a muffler delete tomorrow. I have the choice between two shops. One’s charging $200, they have great reviews and seem more like we’ll just do it type of people. And the other guy is charging $340 but saying his work is top notch and super quality and he’s very communicative, however he’s $140 more, he also said the price is higher since I want to keep the stock tips he has to cut them off of the mufflers too. Other shop didn’t say anything about that.

Is $340 too much of a stretch? Is $200 fair? Am I getting ripped off cause I’m a girl :/
