Those who enjoy soloq: what makes you like it?

I have about 1,700 hours, the majority of that being solo survivor.

I know a lot of people hate soloq surv, but I've actually really enjoyed it for the most part. I did used to get tilted a lot more than I do now, but that's bc I finally started consistently getting experienced teammates when I hit the 1k mark. Now I escape roughly half of my matches.

I've found that what I enjoy about soloq is the total randomness. I never know what my teammates or the killer will be planning. It kind of scratches that gambling itch, lol. I also typically bring a build with some altruistic perks (we'll make it, we're gonna live forever, etc) and a nice medkit so I can focus on finding and healing others. Bond is also great for avoiding game-ending accidental sandbags and finding injured teammates, or positioning to take hits. My goal is getting my teammates out instead of me. Ironically, that usually gets me out too, bc people often return altruism with even more altruism.

There are some things that will always suck about soloq. But I still enjoy it, and hopefully it will only improve with the QOL initiative. What things do you like about soloq?
