How best to break into tech from law

Hi Reddit! I’ve never posted on here before so apologies if it’s the wrong place. But I have a career problem and need help.

I have a law degree and masters in law but it’s been impossible to get a job ever since covid. During this time I realised I only like the analysis and problem solving parts of law. To make a long story short, I want to break into tech. I’m sure about this so no need to convince me otherwise.

What’s most important to me is 1. the ability to work from home; 2. money (in a “I grew up working class and would like to finally have some stability and growth in my life); and 3. independent work. I enjoy working with others and am honestly excellent at it but wouldn’t be heartbroken if I didn’t have to. My dream work day would honestly be working from home around 70% independently and listening to music. But this one isn’t SUPER important.

I’m thinking data science, data analysis and full stack development. I’m enrolled in the full stack Java career path on Codecademy and I LOVE IT thus far. But I’m wondering if data science or analysis would be a better choice career wise? Should I quit the full stack one and start a data one? Which of these three have better prospects in the future, 5-10 years down the line? Will I be able to get a job within a year or maybe two? How do I even get a job with no experience and education? Do I have to do a bootcamp or can I just grow my portfolio by myself and still get a job I don’t have a lot of money going in and can’t afford a bootcamp unless it’s sponsored or paid.

Please help me. I’m very lost! I have the time and I’m a quick learner so I’d rather pick something with the most growth overtime. And thank you in advance!!!
