Sometimes I feel like the world's worst crocheter. Please tell me I'm not alone in this?
I've been crocheting for I'd guess about 5 years. In the beginning, I made a lot of newbie mistakes. And like, I mean A LOT. But I tried to learn from them and improve, and I guess I really did. But man, sometimes I still catch myself making dumb errors and it frustrates me. Missed stitches, hats coming out in weird bucket shapes, edges curling, etc. I wind up unraveling things often because they aren't just right, and sometimes even giving up on a project altogether. I am a huge perfectionist, and I get mad at myself easily, and I guess I'm wondering if this is a common thing, or if I just ultimately suck lol.
For whatever it's worth, I mostly do amigurumi, with the occasional hat or accessory. The project that started this post was my second blanket ever. I wound up quitting on my first one and am trying again, but It's still kinda curling in on the row I'm doing.
