How much $/mg are you paying for your prescription compounded tirzepatide?

I don't by chicken for $650/month so please don't respond with my favorite is XYZ company and I only pay 650/month. I buy chicken breasts at $6/lb. If your guy can sell me chicken at $5/lb that's what I want to know.

So, let’s start. I buy Triz at 4.75 a mg. I use a company that has its own subreddit on here and purchase their 15mg 3@once pricing $285 per month. Each vial is 2ml. Each dose is 50 units and there are 4 doses of 15mg in each vial. So, there are 60mg (4x15) of Triz in each 15mg vial. $285/60mg is $4.75/mg. My doctor prescribed dose is 7.5mg per week. So the number of units I draw is 7.5mg/15mg or one half of what a 15mg dose is. Since each 15mg dose is 50 units. The number of units I should draw is 50 units x .5 or 25units. And that makes sense if 50 units of 15mg strength puts 15mg in my body, then I'd need only 25units to put 7.5mg in my body.

Now here's the fun part. What is my monthly cost if I'm on a doctor prescribed 7.5mg dose and buy 15mg vials. Well, it's 7.5mg/week x 4.75/mg or $35.625 a week or 142.50 a month. And if your dose if 5mg a week, your monthly cost is 5.0mg/week 4.75/mg x 4 weeks or $95.00 a month. Magic huh, no it's just cost accounting of which I was one in a former life. Don't hate me. I'm really a fungi. lol

And, of course, there are the normal concerns above and beyond price/mg. But is it good quality? Do they ship fast? Does it arrive cold? Do you need to pay for another dr appointment to get a refill? Can you order multiple months at one time because you want a small supply on hand. I’m sure others can chime in with things they wish they knew in the beginning.

So how much a lb/mg are you paying for Chicken/Triz? Can you beat 4.75/mg?
