Is it much harder to become a pianist in classical music than other instruments.

Piano is the most played instrument, and that makes it the most competitive. Sure the violin is hard, but there are lot of positions in an orchestra, or solo for a violinsits. Where as a pianist, I feel like you have to be far better than lot of people to have a career.
