Girlfriend singing

I have played guitar for the last 10 years or so and recently finished learning La Catedral by Barrios for a school concert. Even with my — not trying to toot my own horn — great and self-evident proficiency on the instrument, my girlfriend still believes that I lack skill and insists that I should "learn harder songs like the ones by Taylor Swift (whom my girlfriend claims is the greatest guitarist alive) instead of easy songs like 'Mangiror Le Catedral by Schmarrios'." Her rationale is that Taylor Swift is more difficult since it requires singing. She has also said that I could learn just the accompinament of Taylor Swift's songs so that she (my girlfriend) can sing along with my playing. I obviously have the proficiency to learn said songs and I really do love her, but I'm quite frankly annoyed by her constant requests and want her to stop.

How should I proceed?
