Journalist in need of help from professionals/knowledgeable people

Hi there,

I'm a french journalist without much knowledge in cinematography (basic stuff let's say), but my new job requires me to handle lightning on my own. Right now, our small, windowless studio is set-up to film standard social media videos, "journalist-in-front-of-the-camera-with-green-screen" stuff. On each side of the room, we use a Godox FS400 set-up at 5600 K (same white balance on the camera) to get a nice, uniform lightning on the face, but it's kind of flat of course.

We plan on filming longer formats for Youtube very soon, which requires a better look, and I have in mind to film the on-screen narration behind a desk, with a few accessories, of course ditching the green screen, and try to get a more more contrasted, deep look to the image, something more akin to a documentary than to a Instagram video. Something that looks good ahah!

So, knowing I can also bring practical lights from my place, like a house lamp, but not buy any new materials, what would be your advice to light this kind of set-up with what's on hand? I wouldn't dare asking you to do my job ^^ but any guidance/tips would be welcome! Thanks very much in advance! (I join pictures of what we're working with)
