Is this clay pot safe?
Hi all - so I am new to Chinese clay pot cooking. I just bought this black glazed clay pot yesterday at an Asian market here in Philadelphia. I am curious to know if anyone has any information on whether this clay pot is safe to cook with, or if it has any heavy metals or any toxins in its glaze. If I am better off to just buy from a reputable source, I’d love some recommendations.
If it is safe though, any information on how to season it on an electric glass-stove top would be great!
