Is 16gb enough in 2024 for gaming?

Hello guys. I want to upgrade my pc, but the biggest thing that im stuck on currently is the ram. Is 16gb of ram enough in 2024 for gaming or should I buy 32? I have 2 monitors and on my second monitor Opera gx is always open same with discord. I was thinking about a ram like 16gb 3600mhz cl18, but also a 32gb wouldnt be that bad, but if 16is enough I wouldnt spend more.
