Ombré areolas is it ok?

After almost 4 months exclusively breastfeeding I noticed time ago that my nipple changed color specifically the areolas. Like when pregnant they got darker but now it's like the color was washed away like ombré is the best way to describe it. And my let downs hurt not bad but enough to noticed it all the time even when baby is not eating. Is it normal? Or is that thrush
