GGG choices

IMO GGG gets an easy ride from people for not challenging himself. He gets away with the old ‘there was no one to fight’ excuse. Some say ‘but he wanted to stay and beat Hopkins record’ that’s why he stayed at MW fighting nobodies.

After he got bossed by Canelo twice, Canelo went and challenged himself at higher weights while GGG done nothing but fight Rolls et al and moan about Canelo not wanting to fight him.

Fast forward to 2022 and GGG grabs a WBA title from Murata to add to his IBF. He has more competition in his weight class than ever before, there’s Charlo with WBC, Andrade with WBO, contenders like Mungia, Adames, Lara and even an all Kazakh clash with Alimkhanuly.

What does GGG do? He goes up to fight Canelo at SMW and gets embarrassed. A weight he avoided for years when there were opportunities for him. Instead of fighting Charlo and Andrade to go undisputed he chose to go up to get bashed about by Canelo again.

The guys a fraud.
