Let's dish on THE Rooftop Scene ...
I have a lot of thoughts on the rooftop scene and want to hear yours. I liked it was suggestive and flirty, but it didn't fit the rest of the movie. It was not the same character and Blake looked happy doing that scene as her husband wrote it. No where else in the movie was she that character. It wasn't in the voice of the rest of the film and would have been good in a rom com, or if she tried to keep that enthusiasm before she found out Baldoni's character was abusive.
In general, while I liked the film, I felt like the movie needed more passion and happiness (from her) to justify her connection with Baldoni's character, as she always looked like she dreaded or hated him even when it was supposed to be good. She needed some levity, to then help us see her changing and the effects.
