Seeking nature

I’m going to Beijing in August for 10 days. Will be spending most of my time in the center of the city but wanted to take a day trip outside of Beijing to see some nature and countryside. Does anyone have recommendations for peaceful nature spots /countryside that aren’t too far from the City? Ideally not too touristy. We will have a car for transportation. Willing to drive up to 3 hours. Thanks in advance!
