I followed travel advice from this sub and here are pictures from my trip

In August I posted on this sub that I was going to be in Bali for about 5 days and wanted travel advice. I had been in Ubud for a week in the previous year and was looking for more beach time and something for a mature solo female traveller. So in the first week in November I followed suggestions from u/Coalcliff almost to the letter. I had a glorious 5 days in Bali that were a perfect cap to an intense month in Indonesia for work.

Here’s my final trip:

• Sanur: 2 nights. Laid back vibe that was perfect for me.

• Nusa Lemobogan: 2 nights…this was really an unexpected adventure. Took high speed boats both ways and stayed at a lovely lodge. Was surprised at how remote parts of it are and got around walking. The locals were warm and kind.

• Kuta: 2 nights. Probably my least favorite of the places I’ve visited in Bali. Not my vibe. Beaches were too crowded and too many tourists. Nice restaurants though and I used it to visit other places in Den Pasar like the majestic Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park. If I could do it all over again, I would go back to Sanur.

Not sure if I will be going to Bali again but my latest trip has left me with warm memories to last a lifetime.
