I can't get the Carian Greatsword > Piercer true combo to work
Hi everyone. As the title states I can't get the true combo to work. I've 100% got max cast speed (30 dex with azur staff, tried with radagon icon too) my friend has tried with 70 dex and we can just about roll out before the piercer hits. Is this because we're on the same network? We can both roll out of the greatsword hit before piercer in the arena and when red finger summoning each other. I'm fighting people in the arena too and they're able to roll out just in time before the piercer hits. What am I missing?

Thanks everyone for the responses :) The consensus is:
- Have 70 dex (virtual or otherwise)
- Have good ping
- Immediately que up piercer after casting greatsword, so there's no gap. Do not hit confirm
- Try and hit with the later parts of the greatsword animation before following up with piercer.
- That last one isn't always needed, I've some PvPers on youtube not needing it.
I've done some testing today, and for me if I queue up piercer immediately (with 70+ virtual dex obvs) I still can't get it. This is when locked on to the target.
I can get it however if I free-aim greatsword and try to hit them near the end of the swing - essentially turn my character 90 degrees to the right before casting greatsword. I feel like with better ping this isn't needed, but helps in the case of a poorer connection.
Speaking of which, here's my ping/latency. I spent £100 on a TP Link Deco S4 to get good connection in my room, which is on the second floor (third floor in US), and my routers on the Ground floor. I thought this connection is pretty good, but it's apparently not enough to do the true combo without freeaiming and hitting with the end of greatsword.
