Why do I give off opposite vibes to different people?

Why do I give off such strong and opposite vibes to people? For example, one person might say, "You're the friendliest person I've ever met," while another might say, "I was afraid to talk to you because you were giving me a death stare"-and both were in the same group, where I thought I was acting the same way. Similarly, I've heard things like, "I've never encountered someone who is so calm and transmits such peaceful vibes" (this was common from my teachers) versus, "You're hyper, you never sit still, you're the most nervous person I know" (which I often hear from friends, classmates, and colleagues). This has been a recurring theme in my life and it makes me so confused about how people really perceive me...
