AR15 ejecting and chambering the next round, but not resetting the trigger

I went shooting with my AR in freezing temps (-7C/19F) for the first time and I was running into this issue where, in about 1 out of every 3 shots, the bolt would cycle and pick up another round, but the trigger would not be reset.

The bolt succesfully locked open on every single last round, and on a single occasion the gun fired two rounds with a single trigger pull.

The gun is a Daniel Defense M4V7 Pro with a Geissele Super Dynamic 3-Gun Trigger and the ammo that was being used was PMC 5.56 X-TAC. I fired about 500 of the same rounds in the same gun in summer and the fall when the temps were between 5C and 25C and the gun worked flawlessly, with not so much as a hiccup.

I suspect the issue is either that the gun is dirty/dry or that the ammo doesn't burn hot enough in these temperatures to cycle it. I'm gonna clean it and try shooting it again at some point in the week to make sure that's not the issue and, if it's still a problem, I'll try buying different ammo.

Now, for my question: Given everything I've described, is there anything else that I'm not thinking of which could be causing this issue?

Thanks for any help ahead of time!

EDIT: I switched the trigger for a Geissele SSA and took it out to the range today when it was back down to -7 and the gun worked flawlessly, so it looks like the 3 gun trigger was the culprit.
