One Tricking Berber villager rush - Reasons Why

I haven't played AOE2 in over 20 years, but I've decided to return to the game. I've decided to one-trick the Berber villager rush to gain ELO and here are my reasons why:

  1. There are alot of new Civ's and Units in the game. If my opponents never get out of Feudal there is alot of units I don't need to learn.
  2. Essentially villagers will be my only unit. This unit hasn't changed in 20 years. I understand it.
  3. I'm an old time Magic the Gathering Stax player. Resource denial is a game winning strat to me.
  4. It's a not well-liked strat. And I thrive off of other people's tears.
  5. I find TC strats fun. And I want to steal farms.
