My sister says this looks to much like a wedding dress to wear as a guest

I’m going to a wedding in March in Las Vegas and I liked this dress. The color is called “lemon”. My sister said, “absolutely not, it’s too pale of a yellow and looks like a wedding dress”. What do y’all think?
