A little rant about how much ThunderClan hating Cloudkit/paw grinds my gears.

So, Cloudkit was one of my favourite kits as I was reading through the second and third books. And I despise how awful the Clan treated him (cough cough Longtail and Darkstripe). Them sneering and gawking at his white fur as if it were a problem. Making fun of a literal baby just because of where he was born.

"He doesn't have Clan blood, he's a kittypet. He'll never amount to anything!"

For all Cloudkit knew, he was born in ThunderClan and Brindleface (I think) was his mother. He never questioned his heritage. And Tigerclaw griping about him "not knowing the warrior code" and blaming it on his heritage. No! Cloudkit was so damn young and hadn't quite grasped the rules yet. (That's like saying a three year old doesn't know all their manners yet and blaming it all on their parents. No, they're still learning.) And like they think their Clanborn kits are so much better than anyone else's. It's not as if these cats ask to be born into human households.

The amount of fictional racism in Warrior Cats is so infuriating.

And back to his fur. Whitestorm has the same white fur! For StarClan's sake! Blackfoot is all white except for his paws. White fur isn't a big freaking deal and yet these dumb cats are bullying a helpless kit because of it.
