Riot client is (unreasonably?) Huge

Valorant is 38.5gb and the riot client is 31gb? I just installed them and the only games I have installed is valorant, is this normal? if it isn't..what should I do?? I feel like my laptop would be smoother if riot client isnt as huge as the main game
