Shakedown Request - Cathedral Lake to Yosemite Valley

We were lucky enough to get Half Dome cable passes this year, and we're planning a 4 day/3 night trip from Cathedral Lake Trailhead/Tuoloume Meadows to Yosemite Valley in late September. Would really love some advice on pack weight and contents for this venture.

A few notes -

I'm hiking with a group and carrying full tent weight, but no food/bear canister because a companion will take that.

I'm hoping for suggestions for a packable, light, but still comfortable daypack. We will be setting up camp in Little Yosemite Village the night before Half Dome, and I'm not sure how to make the best tradeoff between a lightweight daypack and a comfortable daypack. I'll need it for a seven mile RT hike carrying 3 or 4 liters of water, food, headlamp, and a jacket.

I've been eyeing the tent for replacement at some point, recommendations for a lighter 2-person tent welcomed.
