I-693 changed the covid booster requirement? Varicella and chickenpox?

Hello!

I have to go see a civil surgeon soon for the form i-693. I remember seeing on the CDC page a couple months ago clearly specified that a COVID booster within the last 12 months is required, but now looking for this I can’t find it anymore. I saw there was an update on the 12th of December of 2024 on the latest recommendations, but it’s a whole study that kinda says to get it but it doesn’t seem as crystal clear as before.

Additionally, I called two civil surgeons to schedule an appointment, and ask this question. I only spoke with whoever take the calls, but in both places they were very confident that the booster is not needed, just to be fully vaccinated, but I don’t know what to believe or do. I am a 26 years old healthy athlete and I would hate to take the booster if I don’t need to.

The other vaccine I am missing is the Varicella one, but I have a document from my doctor from my home country(Spain) stating that it was not necessary for me to take the Varicella vaccine because I already went through chickenpox. Will I get away with it or would I need to still take the Varicella vaccine? The doctors document is signed and stamped.

Thank you!
