Business expenses for a SUARL
Hello
I'm an IT consultant who gets paid just shy of 3k euros in a business account for my SUARL, I'm well aware that I won't be able to cash out my dividends until the end of the year. As I started relatively late this year, I'll be only able to cash out around 18k dinars net, which in theory I would have to live on till the end of 2025 for the next dividend cash out. The problem is that money most likely won't be enough to sustain me till the end of next year. I know that I will be able to spend from my business account for business expenses to offset that but my questions are :
- How far can I push that ? Was anyone here able to pass their expenses, like rent, utilities bills, food and appliances as business expenses legally without being bothered by tax authorities ?
- Is there any other legal tax efficient ways to get money out of the business account to the personal one, I'm aware that I'm able in theory to pay myself a salary but it's very tax inefficient.
I know I should consult an expert accountant which I will do at the start of next week but I'm curious to read the experiences of people who are on the same boat as me on this, thank you.
