These fires actually have somewhat of a chance of turning LA red

People are pissed at the gross incompetence and negligence of these politicans. Granted I'm aware it's a tiny section of LA actually affected but keep in mind it's overwhelmingly populated by celebrities and the wealthy many of which directly had a large role in funding these people's campaigns and supporting them.

Already I'm hearing outrage from Californians on other subs about how high taxes are when they don't even have water in the fire hydrants during a fire. Now that poor policy and incompetence directly affected them, I think many of these celebs are rethinking their support and will withdraw from progressive politics. The west coast stigma attached with not voting blue no matter who will disappear to a large extent.

People are also pissed because I've been told by a friend in pasadena who just barely avoided losing her house that apparently the cops aren't doing much to stop looters and it's almost immediately red pilled all her wokest neighbors.

edit: already the climate change people have hijacked this thread. This post is not about climate change, that is another discussion. it's about incompetent democratic politicians whose decisions to divert resources away from an already fire prone area made the disaster way worse than it ever should have been.
