Nothing Fixes This
Blame Ange. Don't blame Ange. None of it matters with how pathetic this organization is. The injury crisis has been there for months. Over the summer the manager asked for first team (or challenging for first team) caliber players at CB, midfield, and wing and the response from Levy and the board was to get young guys and let all the targets sign elsewhere cause the deal wasn't as good. Now we're 19 days into the January window and all they've done is sign 1 GK
Utterly ridiculous that one of the most profitable teams in the most profitable league in the world operate like this. They have the money and can offer the wages but god forbid the books have red ink on them for a year or two. But of course Levy will never fire himself. As far as he's concerned he's done an excellent job at the club because of the increased profits, even if it means charging the supporters amongst the highest prices for tickets for the team he ultimately runs putting out subpar performances for years
Genuinely feel bad for every manager who has been at Spurs the past 15 years and any manager dumb or desperate enough to sign when Levy eventually blames Ange for his own shortcomings (and yes, I put it on Levy because he's the one constant amongst all the failures experienced over the years
