I believe in God but

There are a lot of things I don’t understand. Anytime I ask my super religious friends they get pissy because they can’t answer these questions either and it makes them mad. Please excuse my ignorance when I ask these.

Okay. I’ve been brought up to believe that everyone came from Adam and Eve. I’ve also only seem them in books as being white. So how did we get black people? Asian people? Indian people? Did this come from mutation because of environment?

When people die who don’t believe in God I’ve been brought up to believe they go to Hell to suffer eternal damnation. So essentially the Devil is punishing you for not believing in God and sending you to hell. Does that mean the Devil is a proponent of God?

And last one. Everyone says the Bible is the word of the Lord. People live their lives by it. Well if this book was written thousands of years ago, passed down from generation to generation, translated to a dozen languages and back, how do we know that it hasn’t been interpreted differently all these years that the original book is something completely different than what we have now?
