Day 8 Post Op

hi, I got my tonsillectomy a week ago and am still in so much pain. Today I couldn’t eat anything compared to day 6 and 7 where I ate pasta with no problem. Also, it feels like there is a hole where my left tonsil used to be and I can feel it very time I swallow.

Is the pain of swallowing normal? What about “the hole”

also, I refuse to look my throat in the mirror.
