Traitors and Reality TV

It is clear to me the route that this show is going in, leaning into the drama and the bickering rather than emphasising gameplay and strategising to eliminate traitors. It is clear that people who actually try to use logic to put things together within the game such as Elen and Alex are axed and given little to no screen time whereas poor players such as Joe and Leanne coast their way through dominating episodes as they attack people because of their personalities rather than actual evidence, creating more drama.

In a sense, I blame the show because there have not been as many good twists eg the dungeon challenge or murder in plain sight to give people something to go off or incriminate traitors instead they just start going off of biases, so the faithfuls utter incompetence and percieved mediocrity isn’t entirely their fault.

However, it is clear that they simply want big brother characters and not actually strategic thinkers, if they fully lean into it….100% the show will write its own downfall. Since, it one of the only reality shows in this day and which doesn’t seem completely manufactured by producers, dominated by actors and influencers and is accessible to all age groups with an interesting concept.
