It's not the grind, it's the lag.

I'm a modded Minecraft player. Gregtech modpacks are my bread and butter. Giant factories? Mad science labs pulling everything from nothing, for the price of a bit of your soul? Sign me up!

When I saw the endgame requirements for Techtonica I dove in head first... right into a single-digit-FPS-brick wall. At my current production level, I'd have to leave the game running for weeks to finish the tier 2 requirements, and I can't ramp up production any further without this mess becoming even more unplayable. I have to cut the power just to alter my existing layouts, and I've already torn down everything not related to the final tasks.

I'm running on a Ryzen 9 3900XT, which isn't even breaking 50% usage single-core. Would a better CPU help or am I doomed to lag hell?
