Teachers who are a few years in?

Does teaching get easier the longer you do it? I recently became a teacher in my 30’s teaching high school shop class. I worked in the trade for 15 years and this is a transition for me. So far I am enjoying it, however it is challenging always being on and keeping kids occupied. I really like it and am committed to becoming a great teacher. I’m just curious if anyone finds it gets easier a few years in?
