I think I made a stupid investment

For the past year I've invested in ETFs I am 20 years old so l'm looking to keep my money there for a while. I had some extra money to spare (around 1k) and bought stock of NVO Novo-Nordisk. It has lost a lot of value and continues to decrease. Will i ever break even? I don't wanna sell now because I'll have a loss of 50 dollars but is it stupid to leave the money there and wait? I'm a complete beginner so if anyone thinks I'm stupid I probably am haha. Anyways let me know your opinions.
