Steam deck and wow stopped working?

Not sure if anyone else here playing wow on their deck.

I’ve been a ok for 4 months since kid was born wow worked, last evening it worked. Went to finalize the last patch since plunderstorm (new mode brought back) wasn’t patched in until later, and I can’t finish that patch so I can’t load wow.

I know intel and wow launched a big push to patch bios for desktops, but on the steam deck there’s no mention of fixing something.

Attempted firewall off (in case a recent steam deck update did it in) no change

Attempted file repair via bnet app appeared fine, wouldn’t update.

Attempted uninstalling the game and reinstalling. Still gets stuck attempting to patch in the new part. Doesn’t even get past 4% and it’s jammed up claiming an error with the file.

Games been good for 4 months confused as to why now it decided to not update.

Checking around to see if others are having the same issue or if it’s just me somehow. Kids 4 months old it’s much easier to mess on my deck while he naps/watchjng em vs going to my pc. 😐
