Upgraded to my first Sony!! And Sigma Lens.

Upgraded to my first Sony coming from canon a lot to understand but excited

Question to everyone In my local country a backup battery for the Sony is $100 CAD but I can get two batteries for a better price on Amazon what’s your opinion on aftermarket batteries the guy at the store advised me not to buy them but I’m curious on other opinions.
