My opinion: M3tal Sonic shouldn't be redeemed

Knuckles was (obviously redeemed, Shadow was redeemed, and even Dr. Robotnik was redeemed...

But, there's no reason for M3tal Sonic to become a good guy. And, why should he be redeemed anyway?
I can't think of a redemption arc for him that wouldn't feel totally dull.

To be honest, I just want him to be pure evil and merciless until he gets replaced by an even more sinister antagonist.
