Solas at the Winter Palace

I'm back, the silly woman who thought it would hurt less playing Inquisition after Veilguard (spoiler alert, NOPE).

I just played through the Winter Palace, and with the benefit of knowledge Solas is so hilariously in-character here but it really wouldn't seem that way for a blind playthrough.

Seeing him so calm and relaxed and thoroughly enjoying himself despite the fact he used to be a guest of honour at these things and he's now the Inquisitors' "elven serving man' (I screamed at my monitor!).

I loved the little dancing scene, and in the follow-up talk you can tell him the elves arent his people and that you admire him. Just perfect.

Small hilarious touch though, if you call him out on how he could "miss court intrigue" he disproves. Lavellan got close to the truth there.
