Just got my machine!
Did a sleep study this past fall after my snoring got too much for my wife. Turned out I was having 59 events per hour, o2 dropping to low of 80%. I actually feel decently good, workout three times a week but did it to be quieter for my wife as I’m sure it’s horrible to sleep beside me.
Got fitted for the machine and mask, and about to try it in a couple hours!! Went nasal pillows mask.
Any first night tips??
Update - the first night went better than expected!! It was uncomfortable but eventually became oddly soothing. I found I kept my mouth closed, but only because when I opened it it felt like I opened a window in a house and wind blew through.
My wife said there was no snoring! The app said my events per hour was 3.1 vs 59 from my sleep study.
My nose is sore, but I think I feel more rested, could be in my mind though.
My biggest issue was waking up late in the night and feeling like I wasn’t getting air in, I adjusted the mask and it seemed to flow better and I went back to sleep.
