So how do we explain...

the time jump of 5 months, not being five months? There are a ton of theories out there that it hasn't actually been 5 months since Macrodat uprising, and there is A LOT of evidence to support it being less time, maybe a couple of days.

But there is a huge hole in this theory, that being the Claymation video. A Claymation video of that quality and that length cannot be produced in a couple days or even weeks. It had to have taken a couple months at least. Between processing and reacting to the uprising as a company, generating corrective actions, scripting it, and booking Keanu Reeves to voice the Lumon building, there is no way they could've done that and animate it in that time. I think its a miracle a large corporation like Lumon could achieve that even in 5 months.

I think the first re-awakening makes sense that it was a couple days. but then after Mark gets "fired" thats when the significant time skip occurs perhaps even more than 5 months. Even then though it doesn't really make sense as to why certain things in Milkshake's office haven't been fixed yet, like the screensaver.

TLDR there is no way its only been "a couple days" since the uprising and the animation is proof of that because Keanu Reeves is a busy guy
