Can I grow mexican pings under grow lights year round?

Decided to try out mexican pings for the first time, and was wondering about their dormancy requirements.

Will species like lauena and cyclosecta live long term without a dormancy? Also, do hybrids require dormancy as well? The only hybrid I see that states it doesn't need a winter dormancy is P. x 'sethos'.
