New Morning Commuter

Let's be real, how long does your morning commute to work take? So I moved from the Midwest and lets just say, I'm used to getting around town without the traffic hassle haha. I just moved to Rancho Cordova and got a new job in West Sac. How much extra time do you think I should add to my commute if I need to be there around 8am? Is the traffic typically that crazy?

I plan on changing my schedule to 6am, but for now 8am is my start time :(
