Good things about the wheel
We talked about what the absolute dumpster fire the wheel was, and many miss the time it was not even a thing. I agree with it completely, many people suffer from gambling or perfectionism addiction, and they will spend money on the wheel even if they want to stop. Many also wish badges were not a thing.
However there are some good things that came with the December update.
Free things free. Even if it's the notorious annoying 1 diamond, that's 1 diamond more than nothing. Plus, you often may get 5-10 diamonds.
Tea cups. Undoubtedly the best thing about the wheel. Getting 2-3 teacups makes me instantly happy and I'm waiting for the next spin just for them. And imagine getting them on DR?
30 diamonds from a friend. A lot of us have second and third accs that they use to send themselves diamonds. With the newsletter you can create a bunch of short lived accounts, get free 60 diamonds, send yourself, and abandon the accs when diamonds run out. That's the best thing about the December update.
The wheel and badges brought communities closer together. We had the chance to wait and guess for the first person in HOF, and then celebrate, talk to, and grieve together. It brought communities that never before communicated together. The friend feature did the same. People are bonding sharing what they get on wheel of misfortune, or rejoice together.
Well I wanted to think of a 5, cus 5 is a beautiful number, but nothing comes to mind. You can share your thoughts in the comments though, what you think is positive about the wheel and November update.
