Anything to consider as a lifelong Samsung/Apple user?

I initially got sick of Samsung bloatware and quirks and wanted a change, so switched to iPhone Pro max 15. It's a cool phone but just couldn't adapt to the Apple UI and the keyboard/typing experience is so bad, even with Gboard. Going back to my android roots and I want something versatile, and the thought of gaming on it, better battery and a fan are game changers.

What are some things to consider when switching? Are there things I might miss coming from a "traditional" phone like Samsung and Apple?

Is there bloatware? Do I have full control to remove their pre installed apps?

Does the phone have weaknesses in comparison? I read comments saying that Samsung and Apple are "better at being a phone". What does that mean? Am I losing any significant functionality with Red Magic?

Any insight is greatly appreciated!
