Has anyone else noticed the glitches on Anthony's voice throughout By The Way

My only guess is that it's a bunch of pitch correction. In the zephyr song, by the way, venice queen, and a bunch of others. It's also really noticeable in rivers of avalon, a by the way b side. If it isn't pitch correction I'd love to know what it is because there's a lot of it.
