Really want better battery life (Z1E) but I really don’t want to spend $800 either

My Z1E runs great, love gaming on it. But I'm always having battery anxiety. Outside of the battery, the X doesn't seem that it would bring enough changes to justify the price.

I know battery packs are an option but it's just so...cumbersome (1st world problem I know). Anyone buy an X and regretted it/best decision ever?
